What is this?

passwds.me is a free password generator inspired by XKCD #936. It creates memorable, secure passphrases by combining random words into nonsensical phrases using AI.

Why passphrases?

Traditional passwords like Tr0ub4dor&3 are hard to remember and surprisingly easy to crack. A passphrase like purple clouds dance quietly is both easier to remember and harder to brute-force — the math is on your side.

How it works

When you click Generate, an AI generates a random, nonsensical English phrase. The app then transforms it into six password variants — from simple spaces-between-words to a fully obfuscated version with special characters, numbers, and mixed case.

Is it secure?

Each passphrase is generated fresh on request and is never stored. The AI is prompted with a random nonce to ensure unique output every time. Your generated passwords are not logged or saved anywhere.
